University of Nottingham
15-18 September 2008
Co-organised by CPIB/ GARNet/CISBE/STEMN/SIGNET
Target audience: Open to all – plant biology postdoctoral researchers and PhD students are particularly encouraged to attend.
Aims:
- -To introduce modelling and quantitative approaches to biology
- -To encourage experimental design which generates data suitable for modelling
Programme:
-
Day 1: Introduction to biological data and modelling
(Dr Nick Monk, Dr Markus Owen, Nottingham)
-
Day 2: Inferring cellular networks from data
(Dr Barbel Finkenstadt, Warwick)
-
Day 3: Dynamic modelling and iterative model refinement
(Dr Carl Troein, Edinburgh)
-
Day 4: Multicellular modelling
(Dr Henrik Jönsson, Lund)
Registration is FREE but places are limited
Deadline: 1 August 2008
